The February real estate market in Madison NJ had 3 homes close.  Those numbers make it seem that things were very slow in Madison NJ.

Three homes closed in Madison NJ masks that the Madison NJ real estate market is not really a market unto itself.  Home buyers shopping Madison will also shop any number of other towns as well, including Morristown, Morris Twp., Chatham, and even Summit.  The thing to know is that buyers are willing to look at many towns in the area.

• 70 Hamilton St. In the Knollwood Neighborhood. Sold for $517,500 in 23 days.
• 4 Fletcher PL Sold for $545,000 in 38 days.
• 116 Hempstead Ct. In Madison Commons Condominiums, sold for $550,000 in 161 days.

All in all the Midtown Direct real estate markets including Madison NJ are fairly busy this spring, especially compaired to spring of 2007.
