Morristown NJ Real Estate Agents, Watch Your Back

Morristown NJ real estate agents made it known to the Morristown town council and mayor that they want the temporary sign ban lifted.  Two of the Morristown council members have publicly come out in agreement with the REALTORS request, the Morristown mayor could not disagree more though.

Mayor Donald Cresitello said the ordinance has been enforced vigorously since he was elected chief executive in 2005.  No doubt with the spending of thousands of the Morristown taxpayers dollars.  “I can’t help it if a prior administration has neglected to enforce the rules,” he said. “And this happens to be one of them.”  The problem with this kind of thinking Mr Mayor is that you are loosing site of what you were elected to do, which is to help steer Morristown to a successful future.  How can you do this if you and your administration are spending all your time defending and enforcing punitive laws which add nothing to the future success of Morristown.

Mayor Cresitello, it is time to attend to the public’s business, it is time to work on the hard things that must be done, rather then the small distractions that allow you to not attend to the hard things which must be done.

Hard things that must be done, Stop wasteful spending, and make meaningful cuts to the city budget so that you do not have to raise Morristown NJ property taxes faster than the rate of inflation.
